I am a mother.
I am a wife.
I am a daughter.
I am an educator.
I am a lover of literature.
I am a sharer of fitness and healthy living.
I am a beautiful, and confident woman!
While on my third (and final) maternity leave I have taken time to reflect on my life, especially as a mother. Through this I have been exploring the blogosphere and many facets of social media to give me support and ideas. Now I figure it is time for me to contribute – hence “Mommy’s Lessons”. I don’t want this to simply be a blog where I brag about my children, however I do not apologize should this happen periodically. I want to be able to share my experiences and ideas as a mother and a woman with anyone who is interested. Many of my blog posts we be about the many activities I do with my children both in our home and in the community. I may also share ideas and readings that I have found that I want to pass on to others. At times I will also pull from my other aspects of life, specifically my pre & post natal fitness instruction along with my literacy and technology roles as a teacher librarian (but soon to be Kindergarten teacher) and how I use them as a mother.
Hello. I’m a mommy and a teacher too, except I teach high school. I homeschooled my first three for a few years, so I have a little kindergarten experience. I still have a love for all things kindergarten…maybe my next career. I look forward to reading your posts.
